Feeling unmotivated? There are plenty of ways you can motivate yourself to finish your daily tasks. Tasks that will help you get closer to whatever goals you’ve set for yourself. Here are 3 motivation strategies that not many people actually know about.
Reflect On Your Achievements
When you start running out of ideas, or you start feeling like you’re not making any progress at all towards your goals, you can try looking back at your achievements.
Remember how far you’ve come and all the milestones you’ve achieved to date. You will see that everything you’ve done so far has not been wasted. Start a journal to write down your thoughts and your feelings. You can also use it to chart your progress.
When you have concrete evidence that you’ve taken significant steps toward your goals, you will feel much better. You will feel motivated to continue doing your work and improve yourself as well.
Learn From Others
If you admire someone, they can serve as a source of motivation for you to improve yourself. This is especially true if the person you admire has achieved your definition of success in life. You can learn a lot from them.
You don’t even have to know them personally. Learn their story by reading books and news articles about them. Let their stories inspire you.
You can also begin following successful people on social media as many of them use it to provide value to their followers.
Mentor Other People
Teaching others what you know can help motivate your personal growth. Being a role model creates accountability and encourages self-improvement. You want to demonstrate to your mentee your ability to be a valuable mentor, which in turn can boost your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Did you have a favorite teacher or mentor in school? What made them stand out from the others? What traits or skills made you look up to that person?

Similarly, you can make a positive impact on your mentee(s) by demonstrating a genuine interest in their growth. This will inspire them to learn, and in turn, their enthusiasm will motivate you too. Thus, it’s a mutually beneficial situation for you both.
